May’s calendar of cultural activities at our Spanish school
We’ve just put up the timetable of cultural activities in which our Spanish students will be able to take part this coming month of May!
Remember that all of the activities organised by Instituto Hemingway are completely free, and entail a wonderful opportunity to discover the city and culture of Bilbao, all the while practising your Spanish with your classmates.
On Thursday 10th, you’re all invited to a wine-tasting workshop. In the capable hands of Alfredo, our in-house expert, you will discover the secrets of white and red wine, and learn to distinguish between different smells and flavours.
On Tuesday 15th, we’re going on a boat trip. What could be better for the recent spell of good weather than a trip down the river to discover Bilbao from a whole new perspective?
On Monday 21st, we’re going to the Bull Ring. You will be able to explore the inside of the ring, and also the fantastic bullfighting museum to find out the history of this traditional, contraversial art.
On Thursday 24th, we’re going to the Arriaga Theatre to see a comedy show. As well as the play itself and the opportunity to practise Spanish that it entails, the spectacular Arriaga is well worth the trip.
And of course, every Friday you will have the chance to join us for one of our legendary Pintxos Tours for fun, friends and a glass or two of txakoli.
Come discover what Bilbao has to offer…
We’ll see you there!
