Advanced Course for Spanish Teachers (Taught In-Person): Sign Up for April-May 2018!

Enrolment for the Advanced Course for Spanish ELE Teachers (taught in-person) is now open! From now on and throughout March, the enrolment period will remain open.

This Advanced Course starts on the 9th April and finishes on the 10th May 2018. It consists of 40 teaching hours which are split between two times to choose from: Monday to Thursday, 9:30 - 11:30am or 18:00 - 20:00pm.

This Spanish Teacher Training course, which is advanced level, is aimed at those who have finished the Basic Course for Spanish Teachers at the Instituto Hemingway, or who have acquired specific training for ELE teaching and/or have experience as a Spanish teacher.

The Advanced Spanish Teaching Course is specifically directed at teachers who have some teaching experience and need to learn new methods in order to teach with confidence and to the best of their abilities. This Advanced Course offers you the possibility to explore in more depth aspects of teaching Spanish or current and relevant issues.

We have always wanted to create a course which is constantly updated and which is state of the art in terms of ELE teaching matters.

The Advanced Course, taught face-to-face, will last 40 hours. In this time, we will tackle specific current issues, how to correct errors, how to work with specific groups such as children and immigrants, teaching Spanish for specific purposes and teaching grammar.

With this Advanced Course, we want to provide an answer to any doubts and worries that Spanish teachers have whilst they are gaining experience. We provide resources and ideas so that you can improve your teaching experience, addressing interesting topics such as teaching to children or immigrants or proposing strategies to teach Spanish for specific purposes: business Spanish, legal Spanish, or Spanish for tourism.

Advanced Course for Spanish Teachers (ELE) – Price: €375 for those who have completed the ELE Teacher Training Course virtually or in person. €500 as the normal price.
