Learning to be a Spanish teacher: from Argentina to Italy

Hello. I am Andriana. I am argentinian but I have been living in Italy for 4 years with my family. Leaving my native land behind , my family and my job of 20 years was a hard decision which I must renew every day to move  forward.  During this journey through Italy I have had some opportunities to teach Spanish to students and adults, an opportunity that turned out to be simple since, my experience as a primary schools teacher, allowed me to access this challenge, but always in a slightly intuitive manner regarding the election of the expectations achieved.

When the demand became greater, and whilst learning ( naturally, without realising it) about the variables, difficulties and the similarities between Spanish and Italian, whilst seeing how my two year old and four year old sons acquired it, I decided to look into to studying sistematically to be up to the challenges.

At the beginning it was hard because I had to study in places far away from home and it was impossible to do it. Resigned to just being "a house wife", one day I found out about the possibility of course. It opened up the possibility of reinventing myself at 44 years old and I clung to it. Of course with all of the preconceptions of doing a course via interent.

I immediately found clear and prompt responses from the Instituto.

I began to study and find out responses and solutions,  as well as beginning to "feel part of it".

This factor was the mast important. The possibility to change, the opportunity to keep going, in a world in crisis where all the replies are negative and where each challenge seems to be out of reach.  I have been accompanied by Alfredo, always available , with a desire to take you by the hand , more than to  judge you. They make you feel like studying, progressing and continuing to spread, in a more effective way this language of ours. I have now handed in the report, although it has been very difficult to work  have the two little ones, since when you are at home,  time is always taken up with other things, but it is also part  of the fortune of family. Now, if God wants it and I achieve my acreditation , I will be able to enrol and teach at the school.  Returning to by passion for teaching and recovering my self-esteem and my image before my family.
