Spanish teachers course: mi opinion
Hello, I am living in the south of Germany since a year now, and although I have already worked as a Spanish teacher in the Netherlands, I hoped I could continue doing this job in Germany because that´s what I really love to do. Unfortunately it´s harder to meet the requirements in this area and I cannot get a teacher position with my translator degree and/or my experience.
Even though I understand these measurements, I still wanted to teach so I started this course to see whether it would help me further.
I am convinced that I made the right choice, no matter what. I find the information provided during this course very helpful and I came to the conclusion that there is still a lot to learn and to improve. I think that you never stop learning when you become a teacher.
There are three aspects of this course I would like to emphasize:
First of all, the last module, that helped me to deepen in the knowledge the students are expect to require, secondly, the final report that forced me to be more empathic and to reconsider what the students really want to learn and last but not least, the helpful and constructive comments of Alfredo Orive that motivated me to continue.
How, with this new gained knowledge and a lot of drive I hope that for me, as well as for you all, this course will open new opportunities.
Lots of luck,
Daniela
