Method of communication and Spanish courses
I decided to start a course in teaching Spanish as a foreign language, being a teacher and wanting to broaden my resume and open new doors to give classes in other areas apart from my own.
This course has given me the opportunity to get to know other forms of classwork and conveying knowledge, in this case with foreign students that are learning a new language.
At university we had worked with different methods of giving classes, but I had not previously encountered this method. This method seems very engaging and effective for a student interested in learning Spanish.
It is not a traditional method, which can be tedious or unappealing. Instead, it is a style that is altogether more attractive, which encourages you to continue learning the language.
Naturally, learning the language of the country in which you are going to live or that you want to visit is key to feeling integrated.
I think it's important to approach the teaching of Spanish from a position of humility and companionship towards students and teachers.
In order to offer a truly rewarding classroom experience, it is very important to be aware of the different previous experiences of students, so as to offer them teaching that is tailored to their personal knowledge and abilities.
