The students and their participation in the development of the course content

Today I am going to talk in the blog about an idea that seems inventive to me : “The students themselves should be involved in the process of their evaluation”

Those days when the students had to study and memorize almost every previous night the content of an exam and think of it are gone. In this way, beyond three days you couldn´t remember anything. From my observation as a student – my hobby is studying languages and I am always involved in one – in general we are fairly `lazy` since the activities don´t motivate us, neither do they always interest us.

Because of this, it seems to me very inventive that up to a point the student who thinks about his/her learning necessities, demonstrates them and then communicates to attend them in practice and realizes (sufficiently or not) the progress which is followed. Always, before the end of the class a questionaire had to be done, since in addition to my personal appreciation of the evolution of the group at that time, the student has their own.

It´s a bit outdated but above all I will include all the useful gramatical structures this time for the student to get used to this methodology. That´s not due to my experience as a student of english, but due to my contact with native speakers, who marvelled my skills, with the worry that they wouldn´t understand, I used gramatical structures almost unknown to them. I also support that when you learn a language, it´s important to include the regional dialect but also to learn it at an academic level.
A greeting to all the readers, and especially to Alfredo Orive, whose opinions have always made me reflect more (I continue hoping to improve further).
