Spanish courses in Bilbao

Spanish as a Foreign Language course: my opinion

I would like to talk about my experiences with this course. To start off, my name is Inés and I am 35 years old. I have lived in the UK for about 7 years and I worked as an English Assistant Teacher with children between the ages of 3 and 6. Slowly by slowly I began to get to know people both through and out of work, who were interested in learning Spanish. Without having any previous experience, I agreed to give classes after school.

I realised that I loved teaching my language to other people and I began to have more and more people ask me to give them classes-.

I found a job as an English language assistant teacher at an international college in Spain and I accepted it. Although I really enjoy working in English with the children, I considered doing a Spanish as a Foreign Language course to be able to learn more so as to give classes to other nationalities.
Therefore I rsigned up to do an ELE course and I am very glad that I did so.

I now feel more confident that I can put what I have learnt into practice with my future students.
I found the first module very interesting. It dealth with the the different methods and their evolution over the centuries. I believe that the SPanish language has evolved quite a lot in the way it has been taught lately and the strategies of today have made learning easier..

The websites listed in the third module have helped me a lot, especially since when working at a school you need to use many educational games on interactive screens so that the classes are more enjoyable and pleasant. The students can build up on their listening and oral comprehension and at the same time have fun.

I was very interested in the clear aspect of teaching, since learning a language while playing is more fun, I believe; you will learn in a more entertaining manner and retain it in your memory more easily.

To sum um, I would like to thank my teacher Alfredo Orive for the help and knowledge he has imparted on me throughout this course and I would like to encourage everyone to share the wonderful thing that is our langauge and to teach it to anyone in need.

Regards to all,
