Learn Advanced Spanish as a Foreign Language at Instituto Hemingway
The list of modules studied for this course is as follows:
Module 1- Teaching grammar
Module 2- Error correction
Module 3- Specific collectives
Module 4- Teaching methods unique to Spanish
Module 5- The role of ICT in teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language
In all modules, at the end of each class the student’s work will be reviewed by the teacher, who will subsequently send feedback to the student.
The content of all modules was explained very clearly to me. The relevant course literature, which is also available in electronic formats, adds a lot to the learning experience. I have learned a countless number of concepts and pieces of advice that apply to the development of material for the teaching and skill level of primary, secondary, university and business students, with diverse socio-cultural needs.
The motivation of students, from young children to older businessmen, is crucial to teaching a language. Teaching material, used in conjunction with good application of teaching methods and motivational techniques, is the goal for any teacher; in short, the teacher must ensure that the students are interested in the Spanish lessons.
I am very happy with what I have learned at Instituto Hemingway, and also with the teacher, Alfredo, for his clear and important contributions to my training as a teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language, which had has given me the reason and motivation to do more courses at Instituto Hemingway. Thank you also for keeping me informed of every job offer, not just in Spain but across the world!
Kindest Regards,
Glaucia Félix
